Australia day 2024 dumped

A predictable and avoidable epidemic of shame and shaming .

The West is losing its will to be wilful. Many Aussies have gone so far East they do things, not because they want to, but because the noisy don't want them to. The West is giving up its power to rebel, to protest,to be authorities ( authors) in their own right, to challenge, to live in response to pressure, to really live at all.
Aussies are becoming happy to be bullied. Claiming the righteousness of science quotes and Authority by appointment (not always skill) helps cover the half truths presented as truth.

The fact that no thinking responsible person wants to be a politician in Australia in 2024 ( because presently they will be dictated to by the margins)  
doesn't help either ; those presently seated in Parliament are often there for reasons OTHER than representing their people .   FB Representing SWVictoria 

And another childish attitude doesn't help 

 One up manship is a mad man thing...... maybe a child thing . 
"It was my idea ", "I found it first ".....and all that stuff. 
When the children are in charge.  the words may have much power in felt feeling, but predictably their self righteous projection tells the target power NOTHING about HOW adults learn to live together or what needs to change.

For the first time I can remember people who wanted to celebrate Australia Day were shamed into not doing it.  The proponents created confusion by adding atrocities to the day which weren't there but got away with it because the West as Os Guiness predicted has gone East and in a move of complete stupidity of the East - doesn't want to offend!   
Men's mouths are shut because they are feeling righteous by keeping them that way .That attitude, let me remind you is subhuman and not worthy of men made in the image of God ; god who speaks His mind!

So pathetic and mistargeted is the argument about Australia that the rebels misaim at Good King Captain Cook (who will be revered for centuries beyond our own) but mistakenly aim at the idea that seeking to create a colony is basically wrong. It can be wrong, but its not inherently wrong.

The whole epidemic of cancel culture and gas lighting individuals is clear evidence of the ongoing fanaticism of those who now try to bully us into submission-- using value words that they don't value cause we can see that they don't context them properly.

 As Bruce Pascoe said in "Dark Emu", the First Peoples were the first colonists ( Meaning -seeking to find food) . 

There is nothing wrong with seeking to find food and sharing custody of the land (our religions tell us we don't own it !) to make it happen.
Australians now feeds 100 million people.

The never happies bring up stuff at the dinner table and their mad gripes  now don't even make sense.- they add murder to the day's events .  The first fleet did not involve murder and the second colonists tried to give trial to all who killed, whatever the status of either person.

And one of the things that she and all those before her did is honor members of the Commonwealth.

Jacinta Price is IMO one of so many quiet achievers we should honor this weekend.  What a great statesman she is standing tall in the midst of those who just drag people down--Of those in cities who feed off the net and the rest of us: failing to honor us with a proper VOICE 
But will the Left honor anybody but themselves this year when all their cynicism bred the ugly face of the ABC at King Charles's coronation?   We hope so .Many of the Machiavellian manipulators need to repent of lowering the standard to dog eat dog animal behavior. 
  

 I am disgusted with many of my own generation. Not only that they don't know things, but they don't admit they don't know things .

Sadly they are intellectually confused ;  they proclaim their faith in automatic progress but, as Grayling has pointed out, the left only believe in one thing at a  time - a gloriously simple  monologue and the monotony of a monoculture . 
The created world is much much grander than that . 
 Grayling in "Democracy and its Crisis "  focuses on their empty headed "one vote one value "chorus and the damage it still causes to good discussion and leadership everywhere in the West - right now!

 Instead of being strong and elderstate manlike, many of my generation have tried everything and are woosy, still lost and confused - hiding ,as they do,  in a cloud of cynicism and a blaze of unbelievable wilful self righteousness; and about what most of us hate - party politics.
They are never more so shallow than when they criticize someone for how they look -This is never said openly of course. Non absolute but fully resolute Monarchists will not want to just wait till Princess Charlotte  grows up  to show the dilatants their facade like logic and fantasy !.  

Anyway . today is the day to honor those who have a history of doing a job, and doing it well . Of mastering the dual nature of the inside and the dual challenges ( technological and human ) of the outside .

Protecting the Coast -- we need a lead in Australia

You can drive in your 4WD from the bottom of Australia to the top and not see a bit of large open landscape near the sea , Your kids will be bored silly though looking at all the trees.




The  British people fund the purchase of coastal properties for open tourist landscape use because they know that mere planning ( something they can do well ) is a lame duck when it comes to looking after public views ,
Their purchases for the National Estate grow tourism into those areas whereas sale and development destroys that opportunity for all time .

The Brits fund this sustainable move   because they are not stuck in the 70's thinking that the only good land use is a forest use ;  They are not stuck in the 70's thinking that the only good public park is covered with trees or a place where humans are by nature excluded ; where those vermin human beings must be excluded . They are not stuck in the 70's thinking that the only good is done by twisting the arm of governors and tax payers.

The cost is not as high as many claim as rural zonings can help drive this highly sound way to keep a view and  some grass rangeland animals( like hawks and falcons) and great recreation.

Australians have just got to get the idea that conservation is not just trees , Salt spray creates  low forms of vegetation and ecology that suits grazing animals and birds and these estates can be bought at very good prices for our children.

Now in the limelight this week,  this man is a stayer in the political race with no equal . What drives him is a passion to seek the best for his country .
What more could this country ever want in all its reps that this?   Why is "the mad hatter" still there ? Because he not only knows how to get things done,   he gets them done . His ability to get things happening too sets him apart from the crowd . Many polys just play in parliament - "Toy boys" . They talk about what they are "gunna" do and how things need to change , but they mainly talk about what they think - not what their electorate think - disqualifying themselves in their speeches . These often " young faceless know it alls" ( Craig Langdon today)  don't last. They will sit back and let the party machine tell them what to do because,  at the end of the day parliament is not short of ideas - just people to implement those ideas . Strong emotion is seen in 2010 to be a flaw  .But this perception says more about a disease in the audience than it does about the man ( aggression drives us to our best)
People who care, get angry  and he cares and always cared . Anyone who has had the privilege of being with him for a while knows too  his wonderful sense of humor despite the  decades of daily bludgeoning  by the press ( front page of the Sun yet another one yesterday) ;
You can see it interviews and in the smiles of those around him as they wrestle with the paradox that he is .   Bob  said when he was here about 10years ago to talk to  a small  group of farmers that the press and party machine were absolutely ruthless in pulling down the independents. The contemptuous press  will keep doing so after this honeymoon period is over .
Its probably down to Bob  that there are 3 independents as he said because no other person has been as determined as he has to stay there and do what's right for his electorate .
Take him seriously and shun the press ; Take seriously this man and this group who have in a few days done much to inspire the passions of people across a wide range of political alliances that he is right and the wannabes  are kidding themleves to deny us/ keep denying us true representation.
If I hear another murmur amongst the crowd when he mentions suicide,  I too will get very angry ; suicide is often triggered by not being listened to , by being misrepresented , patronised and put upon .
Who are you to prevent your fellow Australians from being heard when they are hurting ?

Even more rare is when that person says so publicly .

And aren't we glad when that poly is representing us . Well done mate . Not everything in the media machine has be cut and dried for digestion by the simple .
The bureaubrats in advisory circles must be told to concentrate on the concrete sins and not the categories, 
 or we we will all miss the point.
Seems even Geoffrey Robertson too has missed the point

An easy way for any of us to inspire others is to just play the game - and play it well . You have choice of course the tough game or the easy one /JIM STYNES is great at both doing the tough job and telling that story- again and again .

Before you can really contribute in the tough world outside the controls of a mere game , it's great to have the experience and inspiration of working with rules and responsibilities in an arena of controlled tolerance ( there are less umpires out in the real world) .
The learning experience of coping with selfish preoccupations ,unfairness, heavyhandedness ( like "i'm the boss" type ") , arrogance, lights and mirrors when the real outcome is dependant not on the "respect me " type of "authority" but respecting skill variation and working together .
There are many good players in a losing grand final series . What really matters is how we work together .Critical to that is being reconciled to each other cause we can just fall out and stay out.
So often the play then ( on and off the field )is just a mess of blame and counterblame - whose needs it ---when at the end of the day we can enjoy being part of a team . Whatever!
