Minister for most difficult departments
Got to hand it to FRED CHANEY . He's put his heart and soul into some of the most difficult areas of governance and he's come out smiling ---on the 7:30 report ( maybe not just because he's finishing up )
More than that he's told us what he's learned and what every poly needs to know .
Local and accountable . Government does not exist to grow itself anywhere but next door to the problem and support those who are there. Well done . Only wish only he had shouted it from the rooftops cause there is a lot of deafness and distraction around .
Chaney might have also said “ you can’t always bite the hand that feeds you , but even little people on the ground can often do something to stop the dummies from changing the menu all the time ( if you don’t know ---that’s what local accountability can do )
