What would we do without independants!

Lazy Libertarians now on both sides of parliament fall over themseleves to be the first to disassemmble what our forefathers knew was goverenment unenviable role in regulation. Sure they regulate US too much, but NOW in particular ITS in the wrong places .
Quantity not Quality. They create so much NEW legaulation there is no way they can look after the EXISTING ( and usually more important stuff)
- its triggered and given momentum to this shallow idea of deregulating the labour market to the point of blatant exploitation and imbalance ( IR legsilation )
- it limits governmnets willingness to soften economic blows by raising interest rates , penalaties on 4 WDs , resource taxes. The reactionary nature of the libertarians is such that they will spend 55 million telling us what to think but not a sesnible action to prick the unhealthy bubble of current bricks and mortar madness.
--it ignores the need for primary industry to be protected by thoughtful ( not thoughtless =free) involvement . only lazy thinking libertarians in the land of the long hot haze would ignore centuries of clear economic imperatives on this matter.
